Mariana has over 4 years of experience in driving environmental impact projects and sustainability solutions. After completing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Mariana began her career in Sales Analysis and Business Controlling, which equipped her with the skills to transition into a proficient Sustainability Data Analyst.
Mariana had her first sustainability work experience in the Portuguese public sector, mainly focused on promoting Circular Economy topics. This experience laid the foundation for a position at a major French bank, being responsible for measuring the company’s carbon footprint worldwide. In this position, she also provided training sessions in collaboration with the “Climate Fresk” project and developed awareness around sustainability topics across different teams of the company.
Additionally, Mariana has had experiences as a sustainability consultant and auditor, offering valuable insights and guidance to organizations on a variety of sustainability topics, such as the measurement of carbon footprint, the creation of roadmaps to carbon neutrality and the assessment of social and environmental impacts.
