There isn’t a single pathway to transition to a nature-positive economy. There is a spectrum of practical, often underestimated shifts that organizations can take. Here are three ways we have helped companies transition, showing that regenerating nature takes many forms:
1. Transforming a traditional company into a genuine “force for good”
Ekimetrics, a European leader in data science consulting, had a strong sustainability ambition but struggled to embed it consistently across the organization. The founders wanted to shift their services toward decarbonization, and over a 3-month mission we helped them build both the delivery model and the go-to-market strategy.
This involved creating an AI for Sustainability Offer Playbook, defining key technology components, and building a roadmap for a new business unit that could deliver rapidly on the Climate goals of their Fortune 100 clients. The impact is staggering: 15% of turnover on impact is projected in 3 years, with 100M tons of avoided CO2e emissions.

2. Enabling and scaling nature-based solutions
PUR develops nature-based solutions directly within global supply-chains, pioneering the concept of insetting. These solutions help companies meet Scope 3 or net-zero goals while restoring ecosystems and supporting local livelihoods. Our collaboration was focused on strengthening PUR’s competitive edge and value in the NBS space while harnessing data to drive precision, efficiency, and ultimately, a more positive impact on our planet. Our collaboration resulted in:
- A sophisticated data platform to manage operations from the initial data collection in the field right through to client reporting, replacing a significant operational expenditure on manual data collection and streamlining everything.
- A Carbon Forecasting Tool that operates at the individual species level, increasing carbon sequestration estimation precision by +20% at the species level. Carbon sequestration is at the heart of many NBS projects, but forecasting it accurately is a complex science.
- Improved data collection processes, better species selection for local climates, and strategic recommendations for field teams by leveraging historical performance data from 35,000 trees across five projects. We carried out an in depth analysis to prioritize 7 key performance indicators (KPIs) from over 100 indicators, designing 10 PowerBI dashboards to share project situations and performance.

3. Accelerating innovation to unlock new answers
Biomanity is a French tech company pioneering green chemistry with its 100% biosourced, biodegradable super-absorbent polymer (SAP). Their innovation is made from chitin, the second most abundant biomass on Earth. As they prepared to launch their first industrial production and for their next investment round, they needed a robust framework to structure, measure, and communicate their positive impact. This strategic framework, illustrated in their 2024 roadmap, covers everything from defining their vision and values to setting up R&D and sales strategies and formalizing eco-design requirements.
By helping Biomanity structure their impact strategy, we’ve empowered them to better measure and monitor their progress. More importantly, we’ve helped them valorize their mission, providing a solid foundation to secure future investment and take their place as a future leader in green chemistry.
